The fertility journey asks so much of you. The emotional toll is real — and it deserves real support.
Fertility challenges carry a particular kind of grief and exhaustion that is often invisible to those around you. The hope and heartbreak of each cycle, the clinical distance of IVF, the sense of your body as something to be managed or fixed, the financial and relational pressure — and underneath all of it, a loss that rarely gets named as what it is.
I offer specialist supportive fertility counselling and somatic therapy for women navigating infertility, IVF, reproductive health conditions, and the complex psychological and identity impact of the fertility journey.
Fertility & Infertility Counselling — Gold Coast & Online
DOES ANY OF THIS RESONATE?
The fertility journey can bring experiences that are hard to name, let alone share
The exhaustion of hope - going through the motions of optimism while privately grieving
Feeling like an object in your own treatment - managed, monitored, but not really seen
A disconnection from your body after years of it being medically controlled
Grief and shock after a miscarriage following IVF that no one quite acknowledges
The weight of the financial, physical, and emotional cost - expected to be absorbed in silence
Anxiety and hypervigilance that makes it hard to be present in your own life
Pressure to 'stay positive' when you are quietly falling apart
A relationship under strain from something that can't easily be shared outside it
Feeling dismissed or invisible in a medical system that treats your body as a problem to solve
Feeling betrayed by your body
You are not overreacting. What happened to you matters. And your nervous system is still responding to it - because it hasn't yet had the support it needs to come to rest.

HOW I WORK
I do not offer a positive-thinking approach to fertility. I offer a real, embodied, trauma-informed one.
Much of what fertility challenges produce — the anxiety, the disconnection from your body, the grief, the hypervigilance — lives in the nervous system. It is not simply an emotional response to a difficult situation. It is a survival response to ongoing, repeated stress and loss.
My approach works with that directly. Using Somatic Experiencing® alongside counselling and bereavement support, I help women develop a more compassionate relationship with their body, process the grief and shock that the fertility journey can bring, and find a more grounded, regulated place from which to navigate whatever comes next.
I do not offer a positive-thinking approach to fertility. I offer a real, embodied, trauma-informed one.
REPRODUCTIVE TRAUMA & MEDICAL DISMISSAL
Not being heard is its own kind of harm
Many women navigating reproductive health and fertility challenges have also experienced being dismissed, minimised, or not believed by the medical system — delays in diagnosis, being told symptoms are normal, having their lived experience contradicted by clinical data.
This experience of not being heard within a system that has significant power over your body can contribute to a traumatic response in the nervous system. And it matters. I hold a deep understanding of how the medical system can both help and harm women in this space — and of how that impact lives in the body long after the appointments end.
